PlanUp! is an application created and operated by M/s Sansim International, a partnership firm registered under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932 as amended up-to-date. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application PlanUp! (the "App").

 

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our App.

We collect the following personal information when you create a profile:

 

  • Full Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Email address

  • College / University / Organisation

  • Profile image

  • Secondary image

  • Pronouns

  • Short biography

  • Social media ID (optional)

  • Responses to writing prompts

 

2.2 Identity Verification

To ensure the safety and integrity of our community, we require users to submit proof of their age as well as their college/ university/ organisation affiliation. This may include:

 

  • College identification card

  • Organisation identification card

  • Aadhaar card

  • PAN card

  • Any other relevant identification document

 

2.3 User-Generated Content

We collect and store information you provide when using the App, including:

 

  • Plans you create (Date, time, location, Plan category, Plan title and short description)

  • Text messages posted on plan message boards

  • User that creates the Plan and users that join the Plan

 

2.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with the App, including:

 

  • Device type and operating system

  • IP address

  • Error logs and performance data

 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes, including:

 

  • Providing and maintaining the App

  • Verifying user identity and eligibility

  • Facilitating Plan creation and user interactions

  • Improving and personalising user experience

  • Analysing usage patterns and trends

  • Communicating with you about the App and your account

6.1 Authentic Information

Users are solely responsible for providing authentic and accurate information when creating their profile and submitting identification documents. By using the App, you agree that:

 

  • You will submit original, unaltered identification documents

  • You will not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

  • You will provide accurate and up-to-date information in your profile

 

6.2 Appropriate Conduct

Users are responsible for their behaviour and content posted on the App. You agree not to:

 

  • Post or transmit any unlawful, threatening, abusive, libellous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane, or indecent information of any kind

  • Post or transmit any content that infringes upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights

  • Engage in any behaviour that could be considered harassment, bullying, or stalking

 

6.3 Liability

PlanUp! is not responsible for any user-generated content or conduct. Users assume all risks associated with their use of the App and interactions with other users. 

 

7. Age Restriction

The App is only available for use by individuals between the ages of 18 and 25. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who do not meet the age criteria.

 

8. Legal Compliance and Law Enforcement

We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process, to protect the property and rights of PlanUp! or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity.

 

9. User Rights

We respect your rights regarding your personal information. As a user of PlanUp!, you have the following rights:

 

9.1 Right to Access

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you. You can view most of this information directly in your account within the App.

 

9.2 Right to Correction

You have the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information about you. The App provides options to update your account information, including:

 

  • Images

  • Responses to writing prompts

  • Short biography

  • Pronouns

  • Social media ID (optional)

 

Please note that you cannot alter your date of birth once it's set. If you need to change your date of birth due to an error, please contact our support team.

 

9.3 Right to Update Affiliation

If you change your college/ university/ organisation affiliation, you must submit updated proof of identification. This is to maintain the integrity and safety of our user community.

 

9.4 Right to Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and personal information. You can initiate this process within the App. Please note that some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

 

9.5 Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, please use the relevant features within the App or contact us using the information provided in the "Contact Us" section of this policy. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.

 

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
